Dear Valued Customer,

As  service to our customers, this letter serves as a formal reminder that the following End of Life Notice occurred in/after 1991 for the 285x series. This series was crossed to the 585X series that is still active.

There is no fit, form or function difference between the 285x series and the 585x series.  The products are completely identical, with the only difference being that the 585x series uses commercial rather than Military packaging practices.

A detailed list of all affected part numbers and their equivalent crosses can be found at the end of this letter.
